the purpose of the site and scholarship is to continue to let nikolai's light illuminate others.
There's a famous quote by Mr. Fred Rogers: “When I was a boy and I would see scary things in the news, my mother would say to me, "Look for the helpers. You will always find people who are helping.” That was Nikolai.
That was his purpose in going into the Air Force. He was hell-bent on helping his nation and his countrymen.
We hope these stories of him create a ripple to help inspire more helpers in the world.
the good stuff of life is really and truly found in the tiny little kind moments. We all have lots of opportunities every day to make people's lives better with kindness and thoughtfulness, it only takes a moment to create a legacy.
